In September, our Product Manager, Damian Orazio, embarked on a significant trip to our shutter factory located in Changzhou, China. Due to pandemic travel restrictions, this was Damian’s first trip since 2019! Damian’s visit provided an excellent opportunity to gain a fresh perspective on our manufacturing operations and assess any key developments while identifying areas for improvement.
The factory has recently made significant operational improvements by investing in new sanding machinery to improve the efficiency and the quality of our Highprofile product. In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility, new carbon VOC air cleaning systems and water filtration systems have also been implemented.
In addition to these changes, the factory’s layout has been significantly modified. The building consists of three levels, with the second floor accommodating two separate production lines. These changes have helped to improve quality control and packing processes while the installation of dehumidifiers and other enhancements have also been put into place to optimise WPHS and production processes.
